| | If your child is dyslexic, you have most likely been told that they have a learning disability. This is not true. Yes, they learn differently from other children, but school is set up ONLY for 1 of the 70 different learning styles. Please embrace your child's natural learning style, love and appreciate your child for who he/she is, and you will discover that all children have their own gifts. All children are able to learn - but we need to embrace their natural style instead of forcing them into our preconceived molds. We need to give them the right environment if we want them to flourish. If your child is dyslexic, you must watch this TED talk (and have your tissues ready!) |
